Nurturing Life Initiative – Maternal, Newborn & Child Health This health and welfare program focuses on enhancing the survival, growth, and well-being of mothers, infants, and children across 16 villages in three panchayats of Tonto Block, West Singhbhum. The initiative strengthens community health systems through improved Village Health Nutrition Days (VHNDs), routine immunization, and behavior change communication. It also addresses malnutrition through nutritional support and awareness on maternal care and child development.
Adolescents Have a Healthy Environment to Develop Themselves Implemented in Khuntpani, Amda, and Sini Centers of Saraikela-Kharsawan and West Singhbhum districts, this project empowers adolescents to grow in a safe and supportive environment. It focuses on their physical, mental, and social development through life-skills training, health education, leadership promotion, and protection from harmful practices.
GGF – Creation of Livelihood Opportunities through Agriculture, Livestock & Forest Operating in 10 villages of Chakradharpur Block, this project promotes sustainable livelihoods by utilizing natural resources responsibly. It supports farmers in climate-resilient agriculture, livestock rearing, and forest-based income generation, while fostering ecological balance and improving rural living standards.
Azim Premji Foundation Project – Access to Rights, Entitlements & FRA This initiative works with vulnerable households in 9 villages of 2 Gram Panchayats in Hatgamharia Block. The project strengthens awareness and access to government welfare schemes and ensures the effective implementation of the Forest Rights Act (FRA) to reduce inequality and empower tribal communities.
Farm2Market Alliance: Engaging 650 Small and Marginalized Farmers and Youth of Farmers Forums for Better Market Linkages and Improved Income This project engages 650 small and marginalized farmers along with youth from Farmers Forums to enhance market access and boost their income. Implemented in 3 Farmer Forums located in Jamshedpur (East Singhbhum), Anandpur, and Hatgamharia (West Singhbhum) in Jharkhand, it focuses on building stronger market linkages, improving agricultural productivity, and supporting sustainable income generation for rural farming communities.
